MyEclipse 7.0 introduces the Pulse configuration management system, which handles software updates into the MyEclipse IDE. Teamprise Plug-in for Eclipse is compatible with MyEclipse 7.0 and Pulse.
Teamprise recommends using our Update Site for easy installation over the Internet, and for automated updates.
From within the MyEclipse IDE, select Help -> Software Updates -> Add/Remove Software.
In the Add/Remove Software Menu, select Add Software...
Under the "Update Site" options, select Add Locally.
Select Manage Sites
Select Add...
In the "Add Update Site" dialog, enter the Name as "Teamprise Update Site". Enter the URL as "http://update.teamprise.com/plugin/3". Select OK.
Select Next.
Open the disclosure triangles for "Teamprise Update Site", then "Teamprise Plugin for Eclipse". Select "Teamprise Team Provider". Click Next.
In the Add/Remove Software Menu, again select Add Software...
Under the "Update Site" options, select Add Locally.
Open the disclosure triangles for "Teamprise Update Site", then "Teamprise Plugin for Eclipse". Select "Teamprise Standard Check-in Policy Plug-ins". Click Next.
In the Add/Remove Software Menu, you should see that 2 changes are pending. Select Next.
Acknowledge that you accept Teamprise's license agreements. Select Next.
Finally, in the confirmation page, select Update.
If your computer is not connected to the Internet, manual installation may be required.
Download the "Teamprise Update Archive" from http://www.teamprise.com/products/plugin/download/ and unzip it to a local directory.
From within the MyEclipse IDE, select Help -> Software Updates -> Add/Remove Software.
In the Add/Remove Software Menu, select Add Software...
Under the "Update Site" options, select Add Locally.
Select Manage Sites
Select Add...
In the "Add Update Site" dialog, enter the Name as "Teamprise Local Archive". Select Local... Navigate to the unzipped Teamprise Plug-in Update Archive directory and select OK.
Select OK.
Select Next.
Open the disclosure triangles for "Teamprise Local Archive", then "Teamprise Plugin for Eclipse". Select "Teamprise Team Provider". Click Next.
In the Add/Remove Software Menu, again select Add Software...
Under the "Update Site" options, select Add Locally.
Open the disclosure triangles for "Teamprise Local Archive", then "Teamprise Plugin for Eclipse". Select "Teamprise Standard Check-in Policy Plug-ins". Click Next.
In the Add/Remove Software Menu, you should see that 2 changes are pending. Select Next.
Acknowledge that you accept Teamprise's license agreements. Select Next.
Finally, in the confirmation page, select Update.
